Seasonal floods damaged homes and farms around Saboba in the North East Region. Rahama Family Foundation teams distributed grain, blankets, and water-treatment supplies to about 600 families in nine communities.
The distributions were organized with local leaders so households that lost stored food and bedding were reached first. Water-treatment supplies were included because floodwater had contaminated usual drinking sources.
This was a short emergency response, separate from the longer water, nutrition, and farming programs.
